These terms describe how direct AstroPloton purchases will work when paid features launch. They distinguish a one-time purchase from a renewing membership, explain every stage of the billing relationship, and set a plain expectation: no surprise charges.
No payment begins without a clear checkout confirmation.
Recurring amount and cadence appear before you subscribe.
Cancel before renewal to stop the next subscription charge.
Scope and current launch status
These Billing Terms apply to paid AstroPloton subscriptions, one-time digital purchases, and other charges made directly through AstroPloton. They supplement our Terms of Use and should be read together with our Money-Back Policy.
AstroPloton operates from India, serving members across India and, over time, globally. Payments are processed through a licensed third-party payment processor, and checkout will identify the selling entity, currency, applicable taxes, and cancellation method before you confirm a purchase.
Plans, prices, and currency
Each checkout will identify the plan or item, included features, billing interval, currency, price before tax, taxes or fees collected by us, and total due. The details displayed at checkout control for that purchase if they differ from a general description elsewhere on the site.
Unless checkout says otherwise, prices on astroploton.com are displayed and charged in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate, foreign-transaction fee, or other charge that AstroPloton does not control or receive.
What you will see before paying
Before you place an order, checkout will show whether the purchase is one-time or recurring. For a subscription, it will state the amount due now, the renewal amount or how it will be calculated, the billing cadence, any trial or introductory period, and how to cancel.
A recurring charge begins only after you take an affirmative action to confirm the order and authorize the payment method. Saving a payment method, joining a waitlist, requesting founding access, or browsing a pricing page does not create a paid subscription.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
A paid subscription continues for the interval shown at checkout and automatically renews for the same interval until canceled, unless the offer expressly says it is fixed-term and non-renewing. By confirming a subscription, you authorize AstroPloton and its payment provider to charge the payment method on file at each renewal.
The renewal date will ordinarily follow the date the paid period began. Calendar differences, processor timing, time zones, or a failed-payment recovery may move the exact charge time. Your account or receipt will identify the applicable renewal information.
Trials and introductory offers
A trial, discount, or promotional price applies only when it is expressly offered and only for the period and eligibility stated. Checkout will disclose whether payment information is required and whether the offer converts to a paid subscription.
If a trial converts automatically, we will state the conversion date and the price that follows before you begin. Cancel before the stated deadline to avoid the first paid charge. Unless the offer says otherwise, one trial or introductory offer is available per person and may not be combined or repeatedly redeemed.
Taxes and third-party fees
Applicable sales, use, value-added, goods-and-services, or similar taxes may be added based on the billing information and rules that apply to the transaction. Where required, the amount will appear before payment or on the invoice.
You remain responsible for fees imposed independently by your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, internet provider, or tax authority. Those amounts are not AstroPloton charges and generally cannot be refunded by us.
Price changes
We may change plan prices as the Service develops. A new price applies immediately to new purchases but will not alter a completed one-time purchase.
For an existing subscription, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before a higher price takes effect, or more notice where law requires it. You may cancel before the first renewal at the new price. Continuing the subscription after that renewal constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Receipts and billing records
After a successful direct purchase, we will send or make available a receipt identifying the item or plan, amount, currency, tax where applicable, purchase date, and transaction reference. Account holders will be able to review current plan and renewal information through the available billing controls.
Please keep your email and billing details current. If an invoice needs a legally permitted correction, contact [email protected] promptly with the transaction reference and the information to be corrected.
Failed or overdue payments
If a recurring payment fails, we or our provider may retry the payment and ask you to update the payment method. We may temporarily limit paid features while an amount remains overdue, but we will not erase private chart data merely because a first payment attempt failed.
If payment cannot be recovered, the paid plan may end or return to a free tier where one exists. You remain responsible for valid charges incurred before cancellation, subject to applicable law and our Money-Back Policy.
Canceling a subscription
You may cancel a direct AstroPloton subscription through the account billing controls that will be provided, or by contacting [email protected] if those controls are unavailable. Cancel before the next renewal is processed to avoid the next recurring charge.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, so you may continue using paid features until then. It stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period. Deleting an app, leaving a mailing list, or closing a browser does not cancel a subscription; closing an account cancels billing only when the interface expressly confirms it.
Upgrades, downgrades, and proration
When you change plans, the confirmation screen will explain the effective date, any immediate charge or credit, the new renewal amount, and the next billing date. An upgrade may begin immediately with a prorated charge; a downgrade may begin at the next renewal. The terms shown before you confirm the change control.
Credits are not cash and do not expire or transfer except as stated in the applicable offer or required by law.
One-time digital purchases
A report, credit pack, workshop, or other item labeled as a one-time purchase does not renew. Checkout will describe what is included, how it is delivered, and any usage or expiry rule. Access may require an AstroPloton account even though the payment does not recur.
Refund eligibility for a delivered digital item is governed by the Money-Back Policy, the offer displayed at checkout, and rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
App stores and other sellers
If a future purchase is processed as the sale of an app store, marketplace, or other third-party merchant, that seller’s checkout, renewal, cancellation, tax, and refund rules may control. Manage the subscription and request a refund through the seller identified on the receipt unless AstroPloton is expressly shown as the merchant.
Refunds and the money-back promise
Canceling and requesting a refund are different actions. Cancellation prevents a future renewal; a refund returns an eligible completed charge. Eligibility, request instructions, exceptions, and timing are described in our Money-Back Policy.
Billing support and policy changes
Billing questions can be sent to [email protected]. We may update these terms as payment methods, products, or legal requirements change. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated in advance where required.
The effective date at the top identifies the current version. A change to these general terms will not retroactively alter a completed charge or remove a refund right that had already arisen.
